10 Reasons You Don't Owe an Explanation

1. You choose who you want to share details of your life with. Others don't summon you to speak. Generally speaking you don't live your life in a court room. You're not under oath to tell anyone anything- unless you so choose.

2. You have self respect. You don't have to explain life decisions to others because you respect your choices. You're fine with the life you live. Who cares if they are or not?

3. You trust yourself. Enough said.

4. You mean what you say. The fact that you declined running to someone's beck and call is completely fine. No means no. It's not terrible. You don't have to give every reason under the sun as to why you can't. Enough with the people pleasing. That's not your purpose.

5. You believe in others. Not explaining yourself gives others the opportunity to love you and understand you on a whole other level. You don't have to explain yourself in order to convince them to understand. You're better than that and chances are, they are to.

6. You're time in valuable. Why waste it explaining yourself when you could be spending it making a deeper connection.

7. You love yourself. You don't need to enter into that headspace. Why would you trade your best day just to validate someone else's fears. You wouldn't.

8. You're business is just that. It's yours.

9. You don't expect it of others.

10. You are in control of your own destiny. You don't have time to make sure everyone else is comfortable with that.
